Dear Jacinda
Ahipara Concerns Room 9
Dear Jacinda Ardern,
I am very concerned about an issue we face here in the far north. (Kaitaia.)
As a horse rider, I believe that we need Show Hunter shows in Kaitaia! My mother and I, and my poor little pony, always have to drive 3 - 6 hours to our Show Hunter shows. My pony Phoenix gets very tired traveling every couple of weeks. The best solution for this would be to hold Show Hunter up in Kaitaia!
Yours sincerely,
Kate Hammond

Should homework be banned!??
Should homework be banned?
I firmly disagree that children should do homework every night. At some point, homework will be helpful, but it's not essential for kids under year eight.
Homework is not cool. You have had a whole day of learning at school, but when you get home, you just have to do more work. School is where you learn, and at home, that's your own time, and who wants to do work in their own time?
Did you know: If you study too much, you can die? The three main reasons why people die from over studying is sitting in one place for a long time, stressing too much, and lack of sleep.
There are at least 5 reasons that kids don’t like doing homework. It discourages learning. Many nerds do most of their learning at school and they don’t see why they have to do it at home. Kids think it takes too much time. It destroys kids' imagination. Kids will spend so much time learning, that their imaginations die. It ruins kids' relationship with their parents. The kids will get so mad because the parents aren't helping them right. It will also cause headaches and stress.
Did you know that homework was invented in 1905 by an Italian guy called Roberto Nevilis? It was originally made for his students for punishment.
So in conclusion, I believe that kids shouldn’t do homework but once they get into high school it will be helpful.
